The Eureka Springs School District is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to serve as a Junior/Senior Girls Basketball Coach and Head Volleyball Coach at Eureka Springs High School. This position also includes teaching responsibilities in Physical Education and Health.

Position Overview:

This is a dual-role position designed for a candidate who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. We are looking for someone who will lead and grow both the girls basketball and volleyball programs while contributing to the overall academic and physical development of students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about building a culture of pride, discipline, and success, while demonstrating dedication to both sports programs, a strong work ethic, and a passion for mentoring student-athletes.

Coaching Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the Junior and Senior Girls Basketball programs
• Serve as Head Coach for the Volleyball program
• Develop fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence
• Coordinate practices, games, and offseason programs
• Maintain compliance with school, district, and state athletic guidelines
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned courses in Physical Education and/or Health
• Create a positive, engaging classroom environment
• Support student wellness, fitness, and lifelong healthy habits

Qualifications:

• Valid Arkansas teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Coaching experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to student development and program growth
